Deep Tissue Massage is for people who like a massage they can really feel. Instead of long, light strokes, the therapist works slowly into the deeper layers of muscle and spends extra time on specific spots that feel tight or overworked.

It suits guests who exercise regularly, spend long hours on their feet, or have packed a lot of activity into their time in Phuket. Firm does not have to mean uncomfortable: pressure is agreed with you before the session and can be eased at any moment.

You will find EAZE Spa on Chao Fah Tawan Tok Road, near Central Phuket. Every one of our massage therapists holds certification from the Ministry of Public Health.

What happens during your visit

1. Settle in with a chilled aromatic towel and a signature herbal drink.
2. Talk through the pressure you want, the areas that need attention and any precautions, such as recent injuries.
3. Pressure builds gradually as the therapist works into the focus areas you chose.
4. Give feedback whenever you like, since the intensity of a Deep Tissue Massage can be adjusted throughout.
5. Take a moment to rest before you leave.

• Arriving roughly 10 minutes early lets you relax before the session starts.
• Mention injuries, pregnancy, skin conditions and your preferred pressure to the therapist.
• Deeper pressure is not right for every body; if an area is recently injured or very sore, say so and it can be avoided.
• Our doors are open every day, 10:00–22:00.

Will Deep Tissue Massage feel painful?

The pressure is firm but should stay within your comfort. Tell your therapist at any point and they will ease off.

How long should I book?

Sixty minutes may be enough for one or two focus areas. If you want more of the body covered at a slower pace, 90 or 120 minutes gives the therapist more time.
