Office Syndrome with Herbal Compress

About this treatment

Office Syndrome with Herbal Compress is built around the stiffness that comes from long hours at a desk, holding the same posture and repeating the same movements. At EAZE Spa in Phuket Town, it combines traditional Thai massage with warm herbal compresses.

Your therapist concentrates on the tension areas that desk work commonly affects, then presses warm herbal compresses along them for an added layer of soothing comfort. Pressure is adjusted to what feels right for you, whether you prefer something firm or something more gentle.

Office Syndrome with Herbal Compress is a relaxation massage rather than a medical service. If you live with ongoing discomfort, it is sensible to speak with a doctor as well, and to tell your therapist about it before the session.

What happens during your visit

1. Begin with a chilled aromatic towel and a signature herbal drink as you arrive.
2. Talk through where you feel stiff, the pressure you prefer and any precautions your therapist should know about.
3. Traditional Thai massage works through the areas most affected by sitting, posture and repetitive movement.
4. Warm herbal compresses are applied to the same areas to add gentle warmth.
5. Take a moment to rest before you leave instead of rushing straight back to your screen.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to work in an office to book this?

Not at all. Office Syndrome with Herbal Compress suits anyone who spends long periods in one position or repeats the same movements day after day.

Should I choose 90 or 120 minutes?

Both follow the same approach. The 120-minute option simply gives your therapist more time on the areas you want to focus on.
